Swim Meet Timeline -
Below is typical Home Meet Day timeline to understand what to expect on a meet weekend. To find what days we have meets, please check the Season Schedule.
Friday evening you will receive via email the Heat Sheet and Meet Program for that weekend's Meet - this will tell you exactly what events your swimmer the Coaches has signed them up for (Details on how to read a heat sheet - Click the image below).
You can also see what your swimmer is swimming on the OnDeck App.
On Dual Meets swimmers can swim a maximum of 4 events that can comprise of:
- 3 individual and 1 relay OR
- 2 individual and 2 relays
Coaches select the entries for each swimmer.
Sharpie time: It's suggested to mark your swimmer with their events by writing your swimmers events on their arm/hand with a sharpie marker (you might want to test to ensure it is skin-safe for your swimmer): Event-Heat-Lane - Like this:

What to bring? It is important that you arrive on time and bring the following for a comfortable Meet Day experience :
- Shade - pop-up, canopy, umbrella
- Blanket & Camp/Foldable Chairs for sitting on the grass
- Swimmers should arrive in their Meet suit ready to go
- Towels, sunblock, swim cap & goggles (extra goggles in case they break)
- Warm clothes - sweatpants, sweatshirts, and swim parkas
- Cooler with healthy snacks - its a long morning and the swimmers will need healthy food that keeps up energy levels. Or bring cash for to buy snacks on the Snack Bar - that also help fundraise for the team (No Snack Bar on Practice Meet).

- Greek Yogurt
- String Cheese
- Fruit/Vegetables
- Water/Sports Drinks
- AVOID - Sugary snacks, Pop, Junk Food
Pre- Meet Check-in & Warm-Ups (Home Meets)
6:45am - Gates Open
- Please drive slow, follow traffic patterns, be aware of pedestrians
- Park and then unpack and enter the club
- DO NOT double park
- DO NOT block neighborhood driveways
6:45am - Set-up your area on the grass - deep end side on Dual Meets, as the Away team takes the BBQ side (Practice Meet both sides ok)
6:50am - 7:50am - Swimmer Warm-up - Coach will announce swim group times.
7:00am - 7:30am - Parent Jobs check-in (BOTH 1st and 2nd SHIFTS CHECK IN) - Table at entrance of pool
7:50am - 8:00am - Team Cheer
7:50am - 1st Shift Parents report to Job Location
8:00am - Meet Begins
(Away Meets are very similar, but you will get pool-specific details on the Friday evening email depending on the pool of the meet)

Team Meeting with Coaches - ALL SWIMMERS
Immediately following the Meet - ALL PARENTS stay to help clean-up/put away equipment
- Your area/trash
- Chairs & Picnic Tables back on grass area
- Lane Lines
- Blocks
- Flags
- Empty garbage/Recycling into outside dumpster
- Place any misc items in Lost and Found
Meet Concludes - 12:30pm Swim Team must exit the Swim Club
